Restyle: Moon Phases necklace arvostelu / Review

En voi muuta sanoa kuin että rakastan Restylen koruja mutta usein sellaisen paketista otettuani koen yllätyksen, oli se sitten hyvä taikka paha. Tätä Restylen kuukorua (saatavilla myös mustana) olen kuolannut jo kauan. Ihanan suurikokoinen, paljon ketjuja sekä rakastamaani kuu-symbolia. Vaikka korusta yhä kovasti pidänkin, oli se pienempi kuin mitä olin odottanut. En ollut ottanut huomioon ettei se laskeutuisi tällaisella rintavarustuksella yhtä kauniisti kuin mitä mallinukella. Lisäksi se ei oikein pysy "kuosissa" usean eri osasensa takia, mutta positiivisena puolena sen voi kiinnittää korkealle tai matalemmalle sillä takaketju on tarpeeksi suurikokoista kiinnityksen sallimiseksi mihin kohtaan tahansa. Koru tuo mukavasti potkua yksinkertaiseenkin asuun.  Kylmemmällä säällä taidan kokeilla ihan mustan poolopaidan kanssa jotta korun värit pääsevät oikeuksiinsa.

I love Restyle's jewerly but I have to say, many times I am suprised either in good or bad way when I get one out of its package. I have been wanting to buy this particular necklace (avaelable also in black) ever since I saw it first come around and now I finally purchased it. I really like it eventough it was not really what I had expected. It was a lot smaller than I had tought and it didnt really flow as well on me as it did on the mannequin, probably because of my size. Also it doesnt really hold its shape so well because of all the chains but on a positive note you can alternate its lenght very well as the chain is big enough at the back so you can attach it either high or low depending on your taste. It gives edge nicely for a simple outfit quite nicely. On a colder weather Im thinking of using it with a black turtleneck sweater to really bring out the necklace's colours.

I also noticed from the pics that I have gained some more weight but hey... I think Fat and Gorgeous is a good theme for these pictures. Pictures are taken in Vallisaari wich you can read more from my previous post. Also more Restyle posts coming soon in the future!

Vallisaari ja sen salat / Secrets of Vallisaari

Viihdoin pääsin vierailemaan Vallisaaressa , ennen suljetulla armeijan saarella. Suomenlinnan monta kertaa nähneenä en malttanut odottaa päästä tutkimaan "uutta" saarta aivan sen läheisyydessä. Vallisaaressa luonto on päässyt kukoistamaan sillä se on ollut suljettuna yleisöltä pidemmän aikaa. Sieltä löytyy ihanan luonnon lisäksi myös vanhoja armeijan rakennuksia sekä aimo kaupalla historiaa.
Meidät yllätti saaren suosio. Olin ajatellut että ruuhka olisi jo helpottanut mutta ei, tuli ihan paniikki että mahtuisiko lauttaan mutta yllättävän hyvin se veti väkeä. Meno-paluu 7e JT-linellä ihan kohtuu hintainen. Saaren pystyi kiertämään hiekkateitä aika mukavasti vailla ongelmia, paikkapaikoin näkyi kiellettyjä menosuunteja joiden edessä oli portteja mutta tie jatkui niiden takana.. aijai kun tekisi mieli mennä kun joku kieltää mutta kunnon kansalaisina tyydyimme vain mietiskelemään mitäköhän kielletyn tien päästä löytyisi. Ihmisten itsetekemiä polkuja löytyi jonkun verran mutta ei kovin monia. Ihmiset näyttivät pitävän mielessä että saaren luontoa ei sopisi turmella. Tosin olipa osa sellaista rämettä että eipä siellä kaupunkilainen edes pärjäisi.
Vallisaaresta löytyi myös monia taukopaikkoja sekä ihania kuvauskohteita. Mulla on niin paljon materiaalia että täältä otettuja asu-kuvia löytyy myös myöhemmistä postauksista sillä muuten tämä paisuisi liian pitkäksi pätkäksi.
Itse viihdyin saarella kovasti. Ystäväni huomautti että syksyn aikaan saari näyttää varmasti upealta. Sitä odottaessamme nauttikaamme silti vielä kesästä!

At last I was able to visit Vallisaari! After visiting Suomenlinna so many times I coudnt wait to get my hands on this secret armybase island that had only this year been opened to the publick. I was anxious to get to explore the forgotten buildings, wild nature.. the athmosphere..everything. 
We were bit suprised how popular the island was, I had tought the opening hype had gone but no, there were so many people that we were worreid would we fit in to the boat! Luckily it took more people in than I had tought and on our way we were. It costed 7e to there and back , quite allright price. 
I enjoyed the island alot. Handy roads took you everywhere and there were signs telling about the history of the island and alot of places to rest wich had tables and benches you could sit on. 
We found many great spots to take some photos and took a lot of pictures of the beautifull nature too. I have so many pictures in my hold that I'm going to post some later so this post wont get too long, hehe.
I would recommend the island altough it is a bit of walking and you cant cut corners, you have to walk the entire route as theres forest all around you. My friend said that we shoud return on autumn time since the forests in the island would look great then.. while waiting for that, lets enjoy the rest of the summer!

Hellocon 2016

Vihdoinkin päivitys Helloconista eli Helsingin Lolita conventionista joka pidettiin jo pari viikkoa sitten. Olen ollut lomalla mutta kaksi viikkoa enemmän tai vähemmän kipeänä joten asioiden aikaansaaminen on ollut jokseenkin vaikeaa. Helloconissa ollessani multa tuskin lähti ääntä joten kovin sosiaaliseksi en yltynyt vaikka tarkoitus oli ollut. Olin conissa yksin ja ujon luontoni takia muutenkin tunsin olevani vähän kuin kala kuivalla maalla vaikka lolita-genreä kovasti seuraankin. Siltikään en kehdannut kysellä ihmisiä kuviin mutta otin paljon yleistä kuvaa tapahtumasta sekä ohjelmasta. Omasta asustani ei ole kuvaa koska en tuntenut itseäni kovin kuvaukselliseksi kipeänä ollessani. Olin tuunannut vanhan Spin Doctorin mekkoni lolita tyyliin sopivaksi ja päässä oli uhkeanmuhkea violetti peruukki.

Finally an update from Hellocon, Helsinki's Lolita convention that was held a couple of weeks ago. I have been on vacation but I have been sick for more or less two weeks now so it has been hard to gather things up. My voice didnt work on Hellocon so I wasnt as sosial as I had planned. I had arrived alone and felt so shy and bit out of place time to time even when I do follow the genre quite closely. I didnt have guts to ask people in for pictures but I managed to take quite a few pictures of the event itself. There isnt any pictures of my own outfit either as I didnt feel very well for that as I was sick. But I had tuned my old Spin Doctor skirt to fit lolita style and I was wearing a big fluffy violet wig.

Hellocon 2016 Ohjelmaa

Avajais seremoniassa esiteltiin tapahtumaa, edessäni istui ehkä ihanimpien hiuskoristeiden edustajia mitä näin paikalla. Alemmassa kuvassa esitellään Baby the Stars Shine Bright'in edustajia.

Opening seremony held speaches about what was to come. I was lucky to stare at some of the prettyest hairdpieces infront of me while listening. At the below picture there is an introduction of Baby the Stars Shine Bright's crew.

Myyjien muotinäytös  / Fashion show of the merchants

Paikalla olevien myyjien asuista ja asusteista oltiin kerätty kokoon muotinäytös. Alla on siitä kuvia mutta kuvista puuttuvat infot mikä on kenenkin asu sillä en saanut kaikkia niitä valitettavasti ylös, mutta lisäinfoa heistä löytyy  Helloconin sivuilta.

There was a beautifull fashion show that was presenting outfits from the merchants that were selling their wares at the event. I took a lot of pictures but unfortunately I didnt catch all the information of wich outfit was who's, so I would direct people to check more info from Hellocon's official pages.

Lolita Project runway

Ohjelmassa oli myös tv'stä tutun Project runwayn lolita versio. Kolme suunnittelijaa merkeiltä Chiringo, Ilves sekä Eat me Ink me (viimeisestä en ole iiihan varma) osallistuivat kilpailuun missä piti vähän yli tunnissa suunnitella asu ylijäämä materiaaleista. Kilpailu oli erittäin tasaväkinen ja pidin itse kaikista. En saanut hyvää kuvaa yhdestä asuista ollenkaan (kaiketi koska olin sairas..joooo sitä on kiva syyttää=) mutta muista kuvista tuli aika näpsäköitä. Nämä naiset osasivat poseerata todella hyvin!

Next program was known from tv, a lolita version of Project Runway. Three designers from Chiringo, Ilves and Eat me Ink me (not supersure of the last..dont kill me!) were taking part of the competition where you had to make an outfit from weird elements. It was a very good show, I loved all the outfits. I didnt get a good picture of one of them (probably my ilness again, yess lets blame that) but others turned out quite well. These ladyes really knew how to pose!

Baby the Stars Shine Bright Fashion show

Lopultakin päästiin siihen mitä olin odottanut koko päivän. Babyn fashion show! Huomasi että siihen oli nähty paljon vaivaa ja jopa hieman harmitti välillä ottaa kuvia sillä olisi ollut ihana vain keskittyä pelkästään katselemiseenkin. Jokaisen asuteeman jälkeen vaihtui musiikki ja taustakuvat, mallit olivat ihania ja asut upeita. Tätä kokemusta olin odottanut enkä pettynyt!

Finally it was time for the one event I had waited all day! Baby's fashion show! I could really tell it had been done with great care, it even bugged me a little to take pictures as it would have been lovely to just concertrate on watching aswell. After every theme the music changed and every model was so pretty and the outfits were gorgeous. I had waited for this experience and I was not disapointed!

Kiitoksia ihanasta showsta Baby the Stars Shine Bright'ille! Itse pidin erityisesti Steampunk tyylisistä asuista eniten sekä kunnon punaisista rusettiunelmista. Shown jälkeen jouduin itse lähtemään kotiin sillä flunssa alkoi saada voittoa joten loppuillasta ei ole valitettavasti kuvia. Viihdyin silti hyvin ja täytyypi vastaanvanlaisiin tilaisuuksiin lähteä toistekin... terveempänä toivottavasti!

Thanky for the lovely show Baby the Stars Shine Bright! I loved the Steampunk themed outfits the most and the frilly red bow dresses, just lovely! I had to leave after the show because I really wasnt feeling too good so there is no pictures of the rest of the evening, unfortunately. I still had a loads of good time and I would love to go to events like this in the future too.. just hopefully more in good health!
