Yksi mekko , kaksi asua / One dress, two outfits

Mun sisimmässäni asuu yhä pieni samettigootti joka kiljuu ihastuneena jokakerta kun näen sametista tehtyjä kuteita. Bongasin ihanan tummansinisen samettimekon Asoksen alesta alle viidellätoista eurolla joka tietty lähti heti mukaan. Alunperin ostin sen "bilemekoksi" mutta huomasin sen sopivan hyvin arkisempaankin tyyliin. Asusteilla vaihtamalla tämäkin mekko muuntuu moneksi.
 Asokselta tilaaminen oli yksinkertaista, postit noin 5e ja toimitus viikossa kotiovelle. En yleensä tilaa Asokselta mitään ellei hyvä ale osu kohdalle. Tälläkin kertaa ale oli syynä ostoksiin joita kertyi parien kenkien ja mekon verran. Kenkien kokojen kanssa oli vaikeuksia joten vain toiset olivat sopivat, mutta muuten tilaus meni ihan nappiin.

There is a little goth inside me who screams for velvet! I simply cant get around it, I love clothes made from it. I found this lovely night blue dress from Asos sale. I bought it to party use but when I got it, I realised I can use it in a casual look just aswell. I wanted to make a post about various styles around one main piece, so I made two different looks around it. 
Ordering from Asos was easy, postal fee to Finland was around 5e and delivery to my door was done in a week. I dont normally shop from Asos unless theres a good sale going, sale was the mainpoint this time aswell. I bought couple of shoes and few clothes, sizing of the shoes was difficult but otherwise everything went just fine.

Niin söpöt kengät! Love these shoes!

Sama mekko muuntuu vaikka treffeillä käytettäväksi muutamaa asustetta vaihtamalla. Kengät ostin nimenomaan tätä mekkoa silmällä pitäen, harmi että kävely näillä osoittautui hivenen hankalaksi. Ystäväni tosin totesi että hei, ei se mitään! Nehän on hyvät "kuvauskengät". Otin kuviin mukaan myös ikivanhan kimaltelevan sydäniltalaukun tuomaan esille iltalookkia. Huomasin jälkeenpäin että se riitelee vähän goottityylisen kaulakorun kanssa muttaaa.. eipä voi mittään!

Same dress turns easily to use on a night out at town just by changing few accessoryes. I bought these shoes from Asos just to wear with this dress, its a shame its rather difficult to walk with them. But no sweat, as my friend said, they are prefect shoes for just taking pictures! I paired the dress with an old heart shaped purse wich argues a lil with my gothic style necklace but.. I dont mind it that much!

Ajattelin samassa postissa vähän mainostaa lempi korumerkkiäni, Purple Octopussia. Omistan jo muutamia ennestään, mitä olen esitellyt tässä postissani. Kävin alkuvuodesta Yuki-conissa Helsingin messukeskuksessa jossa törmäsin hänen myyntipöytäänsä eikä siitä ostamatta sopinut ohi kävellä. Ostin ihanat kuukorvikset sekä ihanan occultisen ison kaulakorun. Halusin nimenomaan vaikuttavan korun joka voisi olla yksinkertaisen asun kiinnekohta. Se sopisi ehkä paremmin ihoa vasten mustan mekon kanssa mutta halusin sen ylle jo tähän postiin. Täytyy joskus kuvata kunnon goottiasun seurana! Myyntipöydästäkin otin pari kuvaa, harmi vain että ovat hivenen epätarkkoja.. olin just saanut uuden järkkärini eikä sen käyttö ollut vielä ihan hallinnassa.

Now that I get the change, I will also promote my favourite jewerly-brand, Purple Octopuss. I already have few of of their jewerly, wich I have worn in this post. I visited Yuki-con in Helsinki early on this year,where I bumbed in to their table and just coudnt go past it with out buying something. I bought lovely moon earrings and this big, occult necklace. I had been oogling at it before already, was happy that I had the money to purchase it. I wanted a big necklace to use with a simpler outfit. It would probably wear better against the skin with a black dress but I wanted to wear it already for this post. I will have to wear it again with some other outfit too! I took few pictures about Purple Octopuss' selling table too, they are just not very sharp as I was learning to use my new camera..

Aliexpress ruutumekko / Black and white dress

Täällä taas, tämän kertaisen postauksen aiheena Aliexpress. Kyseessä on siis kiinalainen "Amazon/Ebay" mistä voi ostaa melkeinpä mitä tahansa maan ja taivaan väliltä. Tuotteet ovat yleensä halpoja mutta laadusta ei ole aina takeita. Postitusajat kestävät parista viikosta yli kuukauteen eivätkä kaikki tilatut tuotteet löydy aina paketista. Pari kommenttia paikan plussista ja miinuksista:

- Paljon tuotteita saatavilla joita ei saa Suomesta/Eurooppalaisista nettikaupoista 
- Rahat saa takaisin mikäli tavarat eivät saavukaan perille

- Tuotteiden laadusta ei voi olla koskaan varma
- Kuvat eivät aina ole myytävästä tuotteesta vaan tuote on jotakin sinne päin, varsinkin vaatteissa
- Pitkät postitusajat / Lähetyksissä rikki menneet tuotteet
- Eettisesti kyseenalaista esim. meikkien alkuperä, ovatko eläimillä testattuja
- Alkuperäisistä tuotteista tehdyt kopiot
- Vaatteiden koot vaikea valita

Miksi tilaan kun näyttää siltä että miinuksia on enemmän kuin plussia? Koska se on halpaa (ja hauskaa=). Enimmäkseen olen tilannut korunosia isoissa paketeissa mistä on mukavaa askarrella itselleen jotain. Olen myös ostanut joitakin animefiguureja, julisteita..pari hiirimattoa, joitakin keittiötavaroita, koruja tms. Omistan kaksi Alista tilattua vaatetta, tässä esittelyssä niistä toinen, ihana ruudullinen kellomekko.

Here again, this time Im talking a little bit about Aliexpress. If you dont yet know what it is, it is a chinese version of Amazon/Ebay where you can buy almoust anything between earth and sky. There is no real guarantee about quality of the items, there is always a little risk when you order. Most of the times the pictures of the products look much better than the actual product when it arrives. Posting times are long and sometimes things you order dont arrive at all. Why do people use it then, why do I use it? Simply because it is cheap and I can find a lot of stuff there I cant anywhere else. I mostly order jewerly parts, animefigures etc but I have also ordered two pieces of clothes. In this post I'm telling about another of them, a lovely black and white dress.

Mekko on ommeltu kauniisti enkä löytänyt siitä mitään näkyviä vikoja. Kangas on melko painavaa, ei ehkä perinteisintä materiaalia mekolle. Vyötärölle on lenkitetty musta paksu satiininauha joka on sen verta lerppana että voisi harkita toisen hankkimista tilalle. Koon puolesta otin isoimman mahdollisen, joskin arvostelut tuotteesta luettuani melkein valitsin pienemmän. Pienempikin koko olisi mulle mennyt sillä selässä on joustorypytys ja kangas itsessäänkin joustaa jonkunverran. Suosittelen aina tuotearvioiden lukemista ennen ostopäätöksen tekemistä, voi auttaa koon kanssa mutta myös miten myyjä on ylipäätään kaupat hoitanut. Itse olen tähän mekkoon tyytyväinen, samalta myyjältä ostin petticoatin koossa xl ja hyvin meni. Jos haluaa nähdä miltä se näyttää, pikku infoa saapi tästä postista.

The dress had been sewn quite well and I didnt find any visible flaws about it. The fabric is rather heavy and not probably the best suitable for a summerdress. There is a wide satin sash connected to the waist but it is rather frilly, would be better to replace it with something else. I took the biggest size available tough according to the reviews of this products the sizing was quite large. Im pretty sure xxl would have suited me too since the fabric was rather stretchy. I do recommend always reading reviews of the products before bying from Ali, you can find lots of good information from other buyes there and sometimes pictures of the real products after they have received them too. I'm rather happy with this dress myself, I also bought a petticoat from the same seller at size XL and it fitted me fine. If interested reading about it, you can find a post about it from here.

Sateenvarjopostaus / Posting about Umbrellas

Ilma näyttää pysyvän ulkona melkoisen märkänä joten itseäni ja muita piristääkseni ajattelin postata muutamia kuvia erilaisista sateenvarjoista. Sellaisella kun pystyy itseään piristämään, varsinkin jos se on omaan persoonaan/asuun sopiva.

Näistä kaikista lempi sateenvarjoni on ehdottomasti Lisa Parkerin taiteesta tehty Wish upon a star - kissasattis. Sitä kyllä kelpaisi Suomen sadesäässä käyttää! Netissä pyöriessäni törmäsin myös kuviin tuunatuista varjoista. Esim. mustaan sateenvarjoon hopealla piirretty hämähäkin seittikuvio oli todella upean näköinen, saatan kokeilla moisen tekemistä itsekin. Jos on kiinnostusta tietää lisää aiheesta, lukemattomia kuvia inspiraation saamiseksi löytyypi netistä!  Ei muuta tälläkertaa, kevätväsymystä pukkaa päälle mutta kyllä tämä tästä!

My favourite of all these is absolutely Lisa Parker's Wish upon a star - cat umbrella. Would suit greatly to use here in our rainy weather! While I was browsing net of Umbrellas, I also bumbed up to some pictures about tuned ones. For example, black umbrellas that had been decorated by drawing silvery spider web on them. They looked really great, I might try to do one myself too. If having inspiration to do some tuning up yourself, theres plenty of tips around the internet. Nothing more this time, lil' tirred as the spring is slowly coming.. but its gonna be allright!
