Pin-up tyyliä etsimässä / Lookin' for that Pin-Up style

Ystäväni Alex sanoi tuossa yhtenä päivänä että olisi mukava ottaa 40-50 luvun tyylisiä kuvia ja kokeilla pin-up tyylisten kampausten tekoa. Näppäränä typykkänä siihen ehdotin että miten olisi sunnuntaina mun kämpillä, meillä on hieno vanha hissi ja tuuletusparveke missä ottaa kuvia. Tuumasta toimeen sitten vaan ja kohta meillä olikin kotikutoinen salonki peilin edessä valmiina. Hiustenlaitto on sellainen asia mihin en nykyään juuri koskaan itse tuhlaa aikaa mutta täytyy sanoa että niiden kanssa näpetely osottautuikin erittäin antoisaksi puuhaksi. Ensikertalaisiksi hiustötterömme ovat minusta aika muikeita ja olipa sen verta kivaa hommaa että varmasti tulee joskus itseksenikin mokomia yritettyä.

My friend Alex said the other day that it would be nice to take some 40-50s style pictures and try to do some pin-up themed hairstyling. I gasped breath exitedly, already explaining about my house's old elevator and wonderfull balcony that might just fit the theme she was going for. She agreed with my idea and soon we had our own saloon ready for some curling and hairspray action. I usually never do my hair so much but after this experience, I might just start to. It was really fun and I think we succeeded pretty well even if our hairrolls werent necesarily perfect, I loved them. It was such a good fun that I think I will definately try making them out later aswell!

Hame/Skirt: Hell Bunny Zombie Diner skirt 2XL
Tämä printti on aivan ihana, zombeja, zombeja ja vielä kerran zombeja! Hame näyttää aika lyhyeltä ylläni sillä olen vetänyt vyötärön todella ylös koska se on liian pieni mahtuakseen oikealle vyötärölleni. Tykkään siitä tosin tuollakin tapaa. Harmikseni en omista lyhyempää alushametta antamaan hameelle lisää muhkeutta mutta on se kiva näinkin.
I love this print, so many Zombies! It looks bit short on me because Im wearing it so high as it cant fit my actual waist, shoud have gone with one size bigger, but I like it this way aswell. I will someday have to get a short petticoat aswell to get it more puffyness.

Monikäyttöinen retro tyylinen paita. Cybershopin sivuilta en enää löytänyt mutta samantaipaista esim Miss Windy shopista.
Very nice retro-styled shirt. I didnt find it on Cybershops pages anymore but similar designs are sold in many places, for example in finnish Miss Windy shop.

Tykästyin tämän topin printtiin sillä omistin entuudestaan hameen jonka alaosassa oli hyvinkin samanlaista kuviota. Topin kaula-aukko on tosin omaan makuuni turhan avoin mutta pienellä fiksailulla saa tästäkin oivan kesävaatteen kaupungille. Samaa toppia saatavana myös punaisena valkoisilla pilkuilla sekä raidallisena että muistaakseni yksiväriseninäkin versioina.
I loved this tops print as I owned previously this skirt with similar design on it. I dont enjoy how wide the neckline is but with some alternations it will make a nice piece to wear in the summer. You can find the top also as red with white dots or with stripes or other options.

Kaapissani ikuisuuden ollut ihana hame jota on tultu aivan liian vähän käytettyä. Takapuolella on polkadot rusetti takapuolen alla. Ihanaa venyvää materiaalia.
This wonderfull skirt I have owned for a very long time and used it way too little. It has a small bow on the backside below bum. Lovely stretchy material!
