Ihana talvinen päivä osui sopivasti täksi lauantaiksi jolloin olimme sopineet ystäväni kanssa kuvaustreffit. Hän oli kertonut minulle jo kauan aikaa sitten tästä kivasta koivupuistikosta jonka oli löytänyt Viikin ulkoilupuistosta joten ehdotin mitä jos suuntaisimme tällä kertaa sinne. Täytyy sanoa että oli rentouttava kokemus päästä kävelemään metsikköön niin lähellä asutusta vailla liikenteen melua. Kuvauspaikkoja löytyi tulevaisuutta silmällä pitäen useita, mutta tällä kertaa ei ollut aikaa enempää kuin yhdelle setille sillä aloitimme aika myöhään ja pimeähän talvisin tulee melkoisen nopeasti. Kesällä täytyy kyllä ehdottomasti palata katsomaan miltä puut näyttävät kaikessa loistossaan!
We were glad it was such a lovely winter day this saturday when we had agreed to go and take some photos with my friend. She had told me a long time ago about this beautifull birch forest that she had found from Viikki naturalpark, so I suggested that we would head there this time. I have to say that it was a relaxing experience to walk around the area that is so close to the city but without any noises from the traffic. There were many pretty places to take pictures in, but we didnt have that much time as we started quite late and it gets dark pretty soon in winter. I will definately re-visit this forest at summer just to see how beautifull the trees will look then!
Emp Liisa Ihmemaassa mekko / Alice in Wonderland dress

Tämän kertainen kuvauskeikka oli rakennettu uuden EMP'ltä ostamani mekon ympärille. Empiltä saa erilaisia Disney vaatteita yksinoikeudella ja koska monet niistä olivat alessa, mukaani sattui kaksi mekkoa joista tässä esittelyssä ensimmäinen. Vierastin hieman ensin printtiä sillä vaikka olenkin kova Liisa Ihmemaassa -fani, Disneyn versio ei ole koskaan kuullut suosikeihini. Ajattelin silti kokeilla kun tuli vielä -10% lisätarjous ja palauttaahan aina voi. Koot kulkivat aina XXL'ään asti mutta sehän ei tarkoita että mekko olisi välttämättä sopinut. Niimpä luin asiakkaiden jättämiä kommentteja useammasta samantapaisesta mekosta määrittääkseni koon paremmin ja tulin lopputulokseen että sekä XL ja XXL olivat riskin ottamisen arvoisia. Päädyin ostamaan tämän mekon isommassa koossa ja toisen mekon koossa XL ja molemmat menivät ylle joskin XL oli lyhyempi sekä rinta-olkamitta naftimpi. Materiaali oli mukavan venyvää ja printti laadukkaan oloista. Alla ei välttämättä kaiketi tarvitsisi pitää paitaa mutta itse koen välttämättömäksi. Kesää varten löysin jo kivoja pitsitoppeja alle ja sopiihan tuohon bolerokin mutta se korostaa ylävartaloa mielestäni hivenen liikaa.
My outfit this time had been planned around my new Alice in Wonderland dress from EMP. EMP sells trademark clothing from Disney with exclusive rights and this time many of them were on sale so I got myself couple of dresses. I wasnt first sure of the print as eventough I love Alice in Wonderland, I have never been too keen about the Disney version of it. Still, there was a -10% extra sale so I tought to try it out, could always return it if I dont like it. Sizing went up to XXL but it doesnt really mean it would fit automatically, so I checked out what other customers had said about the sizing before making a decision first. XL and XXL seemed good valid options so I bought my other dress in size XL and this one as XXL. I could wear both of them, just the XL one was shorter and the bust-shoulder lenght was tinyer too. I like how the material is stretchy and print seems good too. You dont have to wear a shirt under it but I myself found it still necesary. I already found some cute lace tops to wear with it at the summer!
